Appointed by God

There is a King who is above all kings. He is our God. The same God who appointed king Nebuchadnezzar and king Cyrus is the same God who appoints our president. This should give us great hope no matter who our leader is because God brought the pagan king Nebuchadnezzar to such a humble state that he realized and acknowledge the Lord as the one true God. May He do the same with each leader we have appointed over our home country.
No matter who our leader is, remember the One who changes the seasons, raises up kings, and gives wisdom and understanding to those who seek Him. Remember that it is not in a human leader we put our trust, but God and God alone.
May God be forever glorified and lifted up among us - His followers.
