In the Ark of God

“16 So those that entered, male and female of all flesh, went in as God had commanded him; and the Lord shut him in.”
 Genesis 7:16 (NKJV)
As the rains came down and the floods came up there was only one place of refuge from the storm and that was the ark.
Dear friend, the rains will come and the waters will rise, but the question is, where will you fix your eyes?  There is only one harbor from the storm and that harbor is Christ.  Your face may be cold and wet with the rain drops of trial, but take heart for there is one ray of sunshine that pierces the darkness.  Step into the light and warm your face on the radiant presence of the Light of the World.  Let Him shut you in from the storm.
Yes, we still have to go through storms, but as we are shut into Christ, we have much hope, security, safety, and comfort.
“Does Jesus care when my way is dark with a nameless dread and fear?
As the daylight fades into deep night shades, does He care enough to be near?
O yes, He cares—I know He cares! His heart is touched with my grief;
when the days are weary, the long nights dreary, I know my Savior cares.”

 -“Does Jesus Care?” by Frank Graeff, 1860-1919
No matter how high the waters rise or how hard the rain falls, nothing can breach the great wall of the hand of God.  Take great comfort, dearly loved believer, that you are in the ark of God.

Your brother in Christ,
Aaron R. Force
