Serving
If you would like to be involved at Calvary Rio Rancho in serving in the ministries here, we offer this two-week session to equip you in what we do, how God designed you, and how to apply yourself to the work He has prepared for you. We prepare you for serving, and share with you about our church and our posture as we serve the Lord with gladness.
Foundations
The Bible is our authority for the faith we have. We offer this session to help you be grounded in the truths that we believe in as we follow Jesus Christ. It is basic Christian belief in a nutshell. We present these principles of the Word of God and doctrine in a way that can be understood by anyone so that you know what it is you believe about God, the church, and ourselves.
Parenting
Becoming a parent is a brand-new season with many challenges unique to you. The Parenting sessions are to help you raise up your children in the way that God would have them go, navigate the complexities, and grow closer to God and others. It is a 6 week session and uses the material from "Shepherding a Child's Heart."
Finances
The Scriptures are not silent about how we are to live and handle the resources God has given us. The work we do and funds we are entrusted should be handled in a way that honors the biblical principles of finance. Join us for a one-step session to learn about this topic.
Self - Confrontation Course
As we grow in Christ, we often need to develop strong roots in Christ and in walking in His ways. Self-Confrontation is a sixteen-week session in which we go through the Old and New Testament principles of biblical application to our lives to transform us. This class is in-depth discipleship based on the Word and uses resources from the Biblical Counseling Foundation.
Discipleship
Discipleship is a command from God in order to be growing and becoming more like Christ. We offer one-on-one in person discipleship through seasoned people in our church connecting with you. This is not a measured session in the same way as others offered, but it is a core value we hold here that God's people can and should be in discipleship together as Christians.
